Lukeville, Arizona - U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a previously deported sex offender near Lukeville Wednesday evening.

Stolen Vehicle Used in Human Smuggling Attempt

Douglas, Arizona - U.S. Border Patrol agents, in collaboration with Air and Marine Operations Tucson Air Branch, arrested a 34-year-old Mesa man for smuggling three illegal aliens in a stolen vehicle east of Douglas Tuesday afternoon.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Unlicensed HVAC Repairman

Tucson, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Arturo Juarez, an unlicensed HVAC repairman from Tucson who defrauded would-be customers out of approximately $85,000.  Juarez previously pleaded guilty to one count each of Theft and Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices, but he failed to appear for sentencing in the Pima County Superior Court scheduled on November 19, 2019.

Mesa Man Sentenced in Sexual Exploitation of a Minor Case

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced 59-year-old Thomas James Mattice, of Mesa, was sentenced to 10 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

Former Operator of Assisted Living Facilities Indicted for Fraud and Theft

Tucson, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a Pima County Grand Jury indicted Jerone Davis for one count of Fraud, and fourteen counts of Theft.  Davis operated several assisted living facilities in Pima County, Arizona, under the name of Rancho Verde Care Homes.
