Yuma, Arizona - On September 14, 2016 at approximately 7:15 AM, a Chevy Tracker struck the west side of Mr. G’s, 501 S. 4th Avenue, causing approximately $20,000.00 worth of damages to the building.

Public invited to information meetings on Smucker Park Retention Basin

Visiting Artist Brandon Sanderson to Give Lectures and Demonstrations at AWC

Yuma, Arizona - Last week the Yuma Fire Department responded to 2 snake removal calls. Both snakes were rattlesnakes encountered after sundown at a park area along the river (native habitat). In both cases it was an area of minimal lighting and children were present.

AWC Welding Students Come Home Winners from National Competition

Yuma, Arizona - During the end of June 2016, Arizona Western College Institute of Welding Technology students attended the SkillsUSA national conference and competition in Louisville, KY and came back as winners.
