Tempe, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey attended the grand opening of Benchmark Electronics’ new corporate headquarters in Tempe. The global engineering and electronics manufacturing company will bring 500 new jobs to the state with the relocation of its headquarters from Texas to Arizona.

Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey Wednesday announced the appointment of Timothy Dickerson to the Cochise County Superior Court. The vacancy on the Cochise County Superior Court was created by the retirement of Judge Karl D. Elledge. Under the Arizona Constitution, judges of the Superior Court in counties with a population of less than 250,000 persons are elected by the voters.

Phoenix, Arizona - In his 2019 State of the State address, Governor Doug Ducey called for a bill to provide universal recognition for occupational licenses in Arizona. On Friday, Arizona Representative Warren Petersen introduced a bill to do just that. If passed, the bill would make Arizona the first state in the nation to allow for such broad recognition of out-of-state occupational licenses, reducing barriers to employment for people who move here.
