Assistant Secretary Ryan to Engage with Global Young Leaders in Chicago

Chicago, Illinois - Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Evan Ryan will travel to Chicago, Illinois on July 14 to engage with State Department-sponsored exchange program participants from around the world. Assistant Secretary Ryan will first visit Northwestern University and meet with participants of the EducationUSA Academy, a three-to-four week summer academic program that provides English language courses, college preparatory content, tours of colleges and universities, and cross-cultural activities for self-funded 15-to-17-year-old students from around the world.

Yuma, Arizona - Recently there have been some fires in Yuma that were intentionally set or otherwise appeared suspicious. Most involved alley areas, some were residential dumpsters, and others were personal property, like vehicles. Some may have been accidental and others intending to do damage. Whether they are intentionally set to do harm, or not, these types of fires are everyone’s concern.

The All Hands is an SBDC Network training event where everyone from AWC’s SBDC Network gets professional development trainings. The event is run through the Arizona Small Business Development Center Network who oversees the grant that funds AWC’s program.
