Yuma, Arizona - Save the date for Arizona Western College Foundation’s Celebration of Scholars on March 21, 2019. An annual appreciation event typically held in the fall (September), the celebration will now be taking place in the spring.
Celebration of Scholars recognizes the academic achievements of scholarship recipients and the generosity of donors who have made those opportunities possible. Currently, a grand total of $185,000 in scholarships have been awarded during the 2018-2019 academic year.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Schoening Conference Center, located in the 3C Building of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Donors, community partners, scholarship reviewers, scholarship recipients and their families are invited to attend.
