Yuma, Arizona - This September, seven bands will square off at a live performance for a shot at a $5,000 cash prize. To be one of those seven bands, the City of Yuma is asking for bands to submit their best 5-minute video.

With low humidity, and occasional periods of gusty winds, fires can spread quickly and be more difficult to stop. Preventing fires is much easier and safer than putting them out. Yuma, Arizona - Students in the ASU@Yuma Secondary Education program have received early teaching contract offers before their upcoming graduation, some as early as during their first year of classes. With a shortage of teachers to fill open middle and high school positions in Yuma, the program has been a much-needed addition to the community.
