Yuma, Arizona - This morning at approximately 3:16 a.m. officers were dispatched to a theft of vehicle from Americans Best Value Inn, 300 E. 32nd Street. The victim reported that six subjects, two with handguns, threatened him and took his vehicle and some personal items.

Yuma, Arizona - This morning at approximately 3:11 a.m. officers were dispatched to the Giant, 2381 S. Avenue B, in reference to an armed robbery. The clerk reported a male subject demanded money and displayed a handgun. The clerk gave the subject an undisclosed amount of money and subject fled the area on foot.

Yuma, Arizona - On Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 7:53 p.m. The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of domestic violence in the 800 block of S. Avenue C. During their contact, YCSO shot one subject who was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. The Deputy has no reported injuries.
Book vs. Movie Club

Yuma, Arizona - Teens and adults are invited to the Heritage Library on Saturday, August 20th, for the inaugural meeting of the Book vs. Movie Club. Each month, the group will read a selected title, then meet at the Heritage Library to watch the film and discuss the differences and similarities.
