Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Police Department is conducting an impaired driving detail on Thursday, March 15, Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17, 2018. Additional officers will be used to rove city streets looking to stop and arrest drivers who are impaired by alcohol or drugs. These DUI patrols are, in addition to regularly scheduled patrol officers, all looking for the signs of an impaired driver behind the wheel.

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma County Library District, in collaboration with Western Area Council of Governments (WACOG), will host “Everyone is Special” on Saturday, March 24th. Children of all ages are invited to join WACOG Head Start teachers at Yuma County Libraries at 10:00 a.m. for a family storytime and craft!

Yuma, Arizona - On Saturday, March 24th, the Foothills Library is hosting “Solar Viewing on the Patio” at 10:00 a.m. View the sun through the library’s solar telescope, and look through telescopes that have solar filters to observe sun spots, prominences, and flares.

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma Police Department is continuing our efforts to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics by kicking off another “Tip-A-Cop” event. The event will be held at Buffalo Wild Wings, 1317 S. Yuma Palms Pkwy, on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
