Buddy’s Kitchen Recalls Pork and Chicken Products due to Possible Salmonella and Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination in Vegetables

Washington, DC - Buddy’s Kitchen, Inc., a Burnsville, Minn. establishment, is recalling approximately 212,746 pounds of ready-to-eat pork and chicken products that contain vegetables that may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Friday.

Allen Charged In Seven-Count Federal Indictment With Threat To Use A Biological Toxin As A Weapon

Salt Lake City, Utah - A federal grand jury in Salt Lake City returned a seven-count indictment Thursday morning charging William Clyde Allen, III, age 39, of Logan, Utah, in connection with ricin-related threats.  The indictment alleges he knowingly threatened to use a biological agent and toxin, specifically ricin, as a weapon.

Russian National Charged with Interfering in U.S. Political System

Alexandria, Virginia - A criminal complaint was unsealed in Alexandria, Virginia, Friday charging a Russian national for her alleged role in a Russian conspiracy to interfere in the U.S. political system, including the 2018 midterm election. Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, U.S. Attorney G. Zachary Terwilliger of the Eastern District of Virginia, and FBI Director Christopher Wray made the announcement after the charges were unsealed.
