Detroit, Michigan - Anthony Daguanno, 62, was sentenced Tuesday to 12 months in prison after having pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit honest services fraud in connection with the Detroit Demolition Program.

Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey declared the month of September 2019 to be Teen Suicide Awareness Month in Arizona to raise awareness of the issue of teen suicide and highlight ongoing efforts to prevent it. It is estimated that more than 10,000 teens in Arizona attempted suicide in 2017.

Phoenix, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey Friday joined beauty professionals and students for a signing of S.B. 1401, also known as the Blow Dry Freedom Bill, at Kensington Makeup Artists & Academy located at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The legislation, introduced by State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita (R-23), removes excessive and unnecessary occupational licensing requirements to blow-dry, shampoo and style hair.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced Tuesday that he is part of an Executive Committee leading a nationwide antitrust investigation of tech giant Google’s business practices. Arizona along with a bipartisan coalition of attorneys general from 48 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico will investigate Google’s dominant control of online advertising and search traffic that may be harming consumers and publishers.
