Border Patrol rescue canine succumbs to heat while on duty

Edinburg, Texas - A Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol canine (K9), who recently showcased his ability to locate injured and abandoned immigrants at the Border Safety Initiative event in Falfurrias, passed away on Monday.
