Phoenix, Arizona - Justin Mannheimer, 31, of Inscription House, Arizona, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Douglas Rayes to eight years’ imprisonment. Mannheimer had previously pleaded guilty to sexual conduct with a minor and domestic assault by strangling, a domestic violence offense.

Phoenix, Arizona - May 20, Shaun Gui Hale, 33, of Oak Springs, Arizona, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John J. Tuchi to seven years’ imprisonment. Hale had previously pleaded guilty to domestic assault by strangling or suffocation, a domestic violence offense.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced Friday that Governor Ducey has signed HB2639, a bill introduced by Representative Shawnna Bolick that adds additional future protections for Arizona consumers considering timeshare purchases. In an effort to address ongoing consumer issues in the timeshare industry, Representative Bolick introduced HB2639 with the assistance of the Attorney General’s Office.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted six Arizona men on charges relating to Luring of a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, Aggravated Luring of a Minor for Sexual Exploitation, and Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor. These indictments are in addition to the 14 others previously indicted since March of 2019, bringing the total number of indictments to 20.

Tucson, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a Pima County Grand Jury indicted Tyler Jeffrey Buntrock, a former account services manager for the Pima County Joint Technical Education District (JTED), for allegedly embezzling public monies. Buntrock is facing six felony counts of Violation of Duties of a Custodian of Public Monies.
