Yuma, Arizona - Join the Arizona Western College Civic Orchestra for Classics by Moonlight on Saturday, October 20.
As part of their 43rd season, the full Civic Orchestra along with the String Ambassadors, Young String Ambassadors, and Twinklers will be presenting music including legends, dragons, pirates, firebirds, zombies and more for the whole family to enjoy.
The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the AWC Amphitheater, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Come early to enjoy the Hot Air Balloon Glow by pilot and orchestra violin player David Adler. The glow will start at 5:30 p.m.
Classics by Moonlight started in 2001 as a way to introduce classical music to the community. Music is carefully selected to bring themes to life.
Tickets are $15 or $5 with an AWC ID. Kids 12 and under are free. Stop by the Yuma Art Center, 254 S. Main St., or visit www.YumaShowTickets.com to purchase tickets. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (928) 373-5202 or at the door.
