Yuma, Arizona - The community is invited to come out and attend the Arizona Western College Theater performance of “Trifles,” a masterful blend of murder mystery and social commentary.
Farmer John Wright has been murdered, but the men investigating can't find any clues. John's wife, Minnie, is suspected of the murder.
Written in 1916 before women could vote or serve on juries, this one-act play is considered an early feminist masterpiece.
The show will be held Oct. 18-20 and 26-27, at 7:30 p.m. as well as Oct. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at the AWC Theatre on the Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.
Admission is $5 or free with an AWC ID.
