Yuma, Arizona - Who says you can't have fun while learning about the responsibilities that go along with alcohol consumption?
Arizona Western College will be holding their annual OctSOBER Fest on Thursday, Oct. 18, to help educate students and the college community about the effects of alcohol use.
They’ll be doing so using activities like root beer pong, the intoxiclock (to see how alcohol affects the human body), drunk goggle demonstrations, and more. There will also be free mocktails.
AWC Police, Yuma County Anti-Drug Coalition, Yuma County Public Health Services, and the Yuma Family YMCA SADD Chapter will be in attendance.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the 3C Breezeway of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Avenue 8E.
