Yuma, Arizona - On Thursday, October 18th, celebrate International Observe the Moon Night at the Foothills Library! Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Foothills Library parking lot, 13226 E. South Frontage Road, to view the moon through the library telescopes and take photos with your Smartphone! Telescopes will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Foothills Library.
There is no charge to attend.
International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation and appreciation of the Moon. All are invited to observe the Moon, learn about NASA planetary science and exploration, and celebrate cultural and personal connections to our nearest neighbor.
