Yuma, Arizona - The Arizona Western College Choral Department will perform “A Holiday Celebration” at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 8. The Christmas concert will take place at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 1550 S. 14th Ave.

“It’s a traditional Christmas concert that contains music that most people will recognize like “O Holy Night,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Silent Night,” “Divine Christ Child;” secular as well as some non-secular music will be sung. I think there will be something for everyone. The students have worked very hard on the program,” said Deltrina Grimes, AWC Professor of Choral and Vocal Music. The audience will also have an opportunity to participate in a sing-a-long of Christmas carols.
The concert will feature the AWC Chamber Singers, AWC Youth Choir, and Yuma Chorale.
While the event is free, donations will be accepted. The funds support private lessons for instrumental and vocal students.
