Yuma, Arizona - This morning at 7:00 a.m. we received information there were some threats made to Crane Middle School via social media.
We are committed for the safety of the students and our priority is their safety.
The Yuma Police and the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office are on scene and investigating the threats.
A sheltered lock down has been placed on Crane Middle School and Mesquite Elementary School.

UPDATE: At approximately 11:30 A.M., The sheltered lockdown that was previously placed at Crane Middle School and Mesquite Elementary school was lifted. The Yuma Police Department continues to investigate the credibility of the threat that was made via Social Media.
