Yuma, Arizona - This morning, at about 6:50 am, a three vehicle injury collision occurred at the intersection of E. 32nd Street and Catalina Drive.

The initial investigation revealed a 2003 Chevy Silverado was traveling east bound on 32nd Street and ran through the red light at Catalina Drive.  The Silverado collided with a 2002 Chevy Corvette that was traveling north bound on Catalina Drive.  The Corvette then collided with a 2012 Toyota Tundra that was in the left turn lane on 32nd Street facing west bound.

The driver of the corvette, a 76 year old male, was transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center for his injuries.  He is listed in serious condition and is being flown to a Phoenix area hospital.  There are no other injuries reported.  At this time it appears the location of the sun may have been a factor in the collision.
