Suspicious incident in the 2600 Block of South 34th Avenue

Yuma, Arizona - On Tuesday, at approximately 4:10 p.m., a ten year old male was walking home from school, in the 2600 Block of South 34th Avenue. He was contacted by two male subjects in an older black van. They told the juvenile that his parents asked them to pick him up and take him home.

This is a good time to start thinking about heat precautions, before the “real” heat sets in. We want to give our bodies a chance to start acclimating to the warmer weather (especially before 100 degree days become “normal”).

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma County Library District is pleased to introduce the LEADing (Libraries Enabling Assistive Discovery) Technology Project for people of all ages with physical and developmental disabilities. Located at the Main Library, the LEADing Technology Project features an interactive display table and platform, digital pens for scanning, recording, and scribing, and virtual reality systems.
