Yuma, Arizona - From pedigrees to printouts, too much paper can be time-consuming and expensive to organize and store. Digital files are economical, efficient, and ecological. On Saturday, May 25th, the Genealogical Society of Yuma will host “The Paperless Genealogist” webinar at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. Presenter Denise May Levenick will share a step-by-step plan to move toward less paper to ensure the best of both paper and digital worlds in genealogical research.

Yuma, Arizona - The City of Yuma Police Department conducted an impaired driving detail on Friday, May 3rd, Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th, 2019 with help from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The focus was impaired driving and the apprehension of impaired drivers.

Yuma, Arizona - Governor Doug Ducey Friday announced the appointment of Erin Farrar to the Yuma County Superior Court. The vacancy on the Yuma County Superior Court was created by the retirement of Judge John Paul Plante. Under the Arizona Constitution, judges of the Superior Court in counties with a population of less than 250,000 persons are elected by the voters.
