Yuma, Arizona - Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls called together the inaugural Board of Directors (Board) for the Yuma Multiversity Campus (YMC) on April 26, 2019, to begin discussing a project to bring a multiversity campus to Yuma to serve as an education hub for existing institutions of higher education and respective degrees offered.

Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Western College agricultural students have donated 719 pounds of produce to the Yuma Community Food Bank so far this year, compared to 549 pounds donated in 2018.

Yuma, Arizona - May 19th through the 25th is National Emergency Medical Services Week (or EMS Week). 2019 is the 45th annual observation of EMS Week, with this year’s theme being “EMS Strong: Beyond the Call” emphasizing the cooperative 24/7 efforts needed to provide effective emergency medical response, support and enhance that response, and care for those who provide care to others.
