Yuma County, Arizona - Yuma County Libraries will be closed all day Monday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. The libraries will resume their regular hours Tuesday, July 5th.

Yuma, Arizona - The life-threatening temperatures of the summer months are expected to peak this weekend, and the U.S. Border Patrol will be on high alert. In anticipation of temperatures approaching 120 degrees, the agency is ramping up procedures geared toward protecting the safety of the border community, and illegal border crossers.

Yuma, Arizona - Today at approximately 12:33 p.m. Alexander Bodine made comments on Social Media to kill the Yuma Police Officer who was working in an undercover capacity during a traffic enforcement detail. This officer was standing in the open on a street corner in plain clothes.
