Washington, DC - In the lead up to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the U.S. Department of State, in collaboration with the International Paralympic Committee, is launching Paralympians #WithoutLimits, a social media campaign to raise awareness that persons with disabilities can and should be employed on an equal basis with others.
With an estimated global unemployment rate of more than 80 percent for people with disabilities, the campaign will feature past, current, and aspiring Paralympians from around the world who are making a positive impact in their professional careers.
