New York - On September 26, Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan met with Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Deputy Secretary Sullivan and Foreign Minister Faurie discussed preparations for the upcoming G-20 Leaders’ Summit, as well as Argentina’s leadership in confronting the crisis in Venezuela. Deputy Secretary Sullivan reaffirmed the United States’ strong support for Argentina’s economic reforms.
