Washington, DC - Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Michele Thoren Bond will travel to Argentina and Chile from June 6-10 to review consular operations at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires and the U.S. Embassy in Santiago.

In Buenos Aires, Assistant Secretary Bond will meet with senior Argentine officials to discuss cooperation on efforts to strengthen people-to-people ties as well as services to U.S. citizens.

In Santiago, she will meet with senior Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and members of the Supreme Court to discuss the Hague Abduction Convention.
