Terror Attack in Bangladesh

U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan Donald Booth Travel to Khartoum

 

Washington, DC - On June 29 and 30, Special Envoy Donald Booth visited Khartoum and engaged with government officials on a range of issues, including the political negotiations to end the conflicts, the National Dialogue, and implementation of a cessation of hostilities. He also met with the leadership of the United Nations African Union Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) on how to support its efforts to protect civilians and achieve a sustainable end to conflict in Darfur.

Assistant Secretary Anne C. Richard Travels to Costa Rica

Richard will travel to San Jose, Costa Rica from July 5-8 to attend a high-level roundtable convened by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Organization of American States (OAS), entitled "Call to Action: Protection Needs in the Northern Triangle of Central America.”
