10,000 Arizona Vehicles Eligible for VW Settlement

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that Arizonans who own so-called "clean diesel" Volkswagen and Audi cars will now be eligible to receive thousands of dollars in compensation from a federal class action settlement to resolve emissions cheating claims.

Man Receives Prison Sentence for Exposing Himself on Airplane

Phoenix, Arizona - Monday, Craig Dewalt, 61, of Cave Creek, Ariz., was sentenced by U.S. Magistrate Judge John Z. Boyle to serve two days in prison, given three years’ probation, and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine.  Dewalt was previously found guilty at a bench trial of committing lewd, indecent, or obscene acts on an aircraft.

Quartzsite Man Indicted for 2012 Homicide

Quartzsite, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced the arrest of 27-year-old Thomas Daniel on charges of First Degree Premeditated Murder and Arson. A State Grand Jury indicted Daniel for his alleged involvement in the murder of 65-year-old Linda Garrett, a long-time resident of Quartzsite, Arizona.
