The organization is spending six figures to tell Arizonans the facts about how charter schools, Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, and other policies are enabling more Arizona children to obtain a quality education.
AWC San Luis Informatics Campus Renovation & Expansion Update

San Luis, Arizona - The planned renovation and expansion of the Arizona Western College San Luis Informatics Campus first broke ground on June 29 and is in progress with Pilkington Commercial Company, Inc. serving as General Contractors of the project. According to the EMC2 Architect’s Field Report on July 11, the footings and slab were being prepped. The concrete was poured for the footings and slab on Friday, July 14th.
AFP-Arizona Releases 2017 Legislative Scorecard

Phoenix, Arizona - The Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity released its 2017 Legislative Scorecard today, which is the 34th annual scorecard produced by AFP-Arizona and its predecessor organization, the Arizona Federation of Taxpayers. AFP-Arizona's scorecard assigned weights to over 300 bills according to their projected dollar impact on Arizona taxpayers, consumers and producers, with $1 million equaling one point on the scorecard.
AWC & KAWC to host Parker Chamber Mixer in August

Parker, Arizona - The Arizona Western College Parker Learning Center and KAWC will host the Parker Chamber Mixer on Thursday, August 17 at the new Parker Community Center (11th St and Fiesta Ave) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Parker, Arizona - Today, the Arizona Western College Parker Community Center was officially opened. Dignitaries and AWC officials gathered to cut the ceremonial ribbon on the newest facility in the La Paz area. It was time to celebrate a history of community partnerships and a future of collaborations.
