Chicago, Illinois - The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois has entered a permanent injunction against three related Chicago companies Global Marketing Enterprises, Inc., Lifeline Nutrients, Corp., and Pronto Foods Company as well as their owner Eduardo S. Chua, and their operations manager Haidee V. Dawis.  The injunction prevents the defendants from manufacturing, selling, and distributing adulterated and misbranded dietary supplements and unapproved and misbranded drugs, the Department of Justice announced Friday.

Michigan Man Charged With Providing Material Support To ISIS

Detroit, Michigan - In a criminal indictment unsealed in the Eastern District of Michigan Tuesday, Ibraheem Izzy Musaibli, 28, of Dearborn, Michigan, was charged with providing and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization.

3M Company Agrees to Pay $9.1 Million to Resolve Allegations That it Supplied the United States With Defective Dual-Ended Combat Arms Earplugs

St. Paul, Minnesota - The Department of Justice announced Thursday that 3M Company (3M), headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, has agreed to pay $9.1 million to resolve allegations that it knowingly sold the dual-ended Combat Arms Earplugs, Version 2 (CAEv2) to the United States military without disclosing defects that hampered the effectiveness of the hearing protection device.

Algerian Man Pleads Guilty to Conspiring with Pennsylvania Woman and Others to Provide Material Support to Terrorists

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Ali Charaf Damache, 53, a national of Algeria and citizen of Ireland, aka Theblackflag, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to provide material support and resources to terrorists.  Damache was indicted in 2011 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on one count of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and one count of attempted identity theft to facilitate an act of international terrorism.  U.S. authorities extradited Damache from Spain in July 2017.  Sentencing is scheduled for October 30 before U.S. District Judge Petrese B. Tucker.
