Washington, DC - The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization, in partnership with the Equality Federation Institute, released its fifth annual Municipal Equality Index (MEI), assessing LGBTQ equality in 506 cities across the nation, including 11 in Arizona.

Scottsdale, Arizona - Is there a connection between eating soy and your risk of breast cancer? Some women omit soy products from their diets because they're concerned about that risk. But, Mayo Clinic dietitian Kate Zeratsky says research shows women can now be sure that soy is safe and that eating soy could even be preventative of breast cancer, especially in young women.

Grand Canyon, Arizona - Kristin Salzman first met Jenny Kollasch, a physical therapist at Mayo Clinic's Rochester campus, after experiencing discomfort following one of several surgeries she underwent as part of her stage IIIA breast cancer treatment. "I couldn't lay back, I was hurting so badly," Kristin says. "So someone suggested I go to physical therapy, and that's when I met Jenny."
