Trailer fire at the Colorado Street Trailer Park

Yuma, Arizona - This morning, just before 12:30 am, a trailer was reported on fire at the Colorado Street Trailer Park, 1980 West Colorado Street. Arriving Yuma Fire Department personnel found a travel trailer with heavy smoke and flames coming from it. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, preventing it from spreading to other structures.

Yuma, Arizona - On Tuesday, just after 2:30 pm, the Yuma Fire Department responded to a report of a person with burn injuries. YFD personnel found a male with significant burn injuries from a fire that had occurred in his kitchen. The patient was treated and transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Washington, DC - U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the national movement to limit terms for elected officials, is currently gathering support from state lawmakers across the nation. Its goal is to trigger an amendment convention to propose congressional term limits. Arizona is a key state in this effort. State House Representatives Paul Boyer (HD-20), David Livingston (HD-22), Ben Toma (HD-22), David L. Cook (HD-8), Darin Mitchell (HD-13), and Paul Mosley (HD-5) all signed the Article V Term Limits Convention Pledge. Former State Senator Steve Montenegro also signed the amendment pledge prior to resigning to run for U.S. Congress.

Monson, leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held in the Conference Center on Temple Square Friday, January 12, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. MST. The funeral will be open to the public ages 8 and older. A public viewing open to all ages will take place Thursday, January 11, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Conference Center.
