Yuma and La Paz Residents to See Property Tax Savings

Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Western College District residents in Yuma and La Paz counties will notice a savings on their property taxes this year. Residents will see a onetime cost savings of 44.24% on the secondary property tax levy, due to over $2.4 million in reserve funds being applied to tax payer bond obligations.

Yuma, Arizona - On October 18, 2017, the Yuma City Council approved the use of grant funds provided by the Arizona Companion Animal Spay and Neuter Committee.  The Yuma Police Department received a grant, which provides $10,000 to assist with spaying and neutering of domesticated dogs and cats and $6,000 to assist with spaying and neutering of feral cats.
