Yuma, Arizona - On Tuesday, just after 3:20 pm, power lines in the area of 14th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues were reported to be arcing. Yuma Fire Department personnel arrived to find power lines on fire in the alley of the 1300 block between 5th and 6th Avenues. As firefighters were containing the area of the burning and downed lines, smoke was reported in a home at 1313 South 6th Avenue.

San Luis, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced Thursday that a State Grand Jury indicted Carolina Carrazco, of San Luis, with Theft, Fraudulent Schemes, three counts of Computer Tampering, and one count of Violations of Duties of Custodian of Public Monies.

Yuma, Arizona - Yuma Multiversity Campus Corporation (YMVC) announced support from Southwest Gas (SWG) for a phase 2 feasibility study that will launch in the next few weeks. Phase two of YMVC will include a strategic assessment and market analysis, to assess the present and future need for skilled workforce by regional employers.
