Yuma, Arizona - This week will mark the official start of “Monsoon Season” here in the desert southwest (officially June 15-Sept. 30, according to the National Weather Service). Some of the weather related hazards that could be encountered are Flash Floods, Lightening, Downburst Winds, Blowing Dust, and Excessive Heat. Yuma, Arizona - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Highway 95 Immigration Checkpoint arrested two United States citizens, one Mexican national, and one Guatemalan national traveling in a stolen vehicle in an attempted smuggling event on Thursday.
