Yuma, Arizona - This morning, at approximately 11:56 a.m., the Yuma Police Department received a call in reference to a possible school shooting to occur at Cibola High School.
Aircraft Emergency Landing at the Yuma County Fairgrounds

Yuma, Arizona - This morning, at approximately 10:40 am, a report was received of an aircraft making an emergency landing at the Yuma County Fairgrounds, 2520 East 32nd Street. Emergency personnel from the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma Fire Department, and the Yuma Police Department responded and found a small civilian plane had come down short of the airport runway.
Criminal Damage 1500 block of 5th Avenue to the 2800 block of 4th Avenue

Yuma, Arizona - Today, in the early morning hours, the Yuma Police Department began to respond to multiple reports of criminal damage to local businesses. These reports, approximately a dozen, all involved a large rock thrown through a window or windows of the business. This occurred in the central part of city, from about the 1500 block of 5th Avenue to the 2800 block of 4th Avenue.

Yuma, Arizona - In Fall 2018, Business Librarian Andrew Zollman will lead a series of workshops at the Main Library that teach potential small business owners what they need to do to successfully start their business. There is no charge to attend; however, space is limited.
