Yuma, Arizona - Yuma County libraries will be closed all day Monday, November 12th, in observance of Veterans Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, November 13th.

Yuma, Arizona - The Yuma Fire Department continues to respond to trash and yard debris fires, both happen way too often (5 responses just for last week alone). These types of fires within residential neighborhoods can be a nuisance and a hazard.

Yuma, Arizona - Arizona Western College is inviting alumni and community partners to the annual AWC Alumni Breakfast and Hall of Fame Celebration on Thursday, November 1, from 8 - 9 a.m. in the Schoening Conference Center, 2020 S. Yuma, Arizona - On Saturday, November 10th, join Anakē Kaipolani, otherwise known as Lizzie Renaud, for a cultural dance and language session honoring the islands of Hawai`i at 10:00 a.m. at the Main Library. Learn some Hawai`ian phrases, history, stories, and basic foot movements of a modern hula titled “Moloka`I Slide.” All ages welcome.

Yuma, Arizona - The Friends of the Foothills Library will sell used books, DVD's and magazines from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 16th, and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17th,
at the Foothills Library, 13226 E. South Frontage Road, Yuma.
