Yuma, Arizona - The annual Scary and Safe Trick or Treat will switch locations this year, being held 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. October 31 at the Yuma County Fairgrounds, 32nd Street and Avenue 2-1/2E.

Yuma, Arizona - Watch for Yuma Fire Department personnel, along with other area firefighters at many school activities, special events, and charity fundraisers throughout the month of October. Also, be our guest on Saturday October 14th (9:00 am till Noon) for the 3rd Annual YFD Fire Prevention Week Open House at the Public Safety Training Facility (3575 S. Avenue 4E).

Yuma, Arizona - On Saturday, October 28th, the Genealogical Society of Yuma will present “Find a Grave” at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. Learn how cemetery records may help you in your research, and how to conduct cemetery research. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to this workshop. There is no charge to attend.
