Joseph City, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that based upon an investigation performed by the Office of the Auditor General, a State Grand Jury indicted Tonnie Rae Pugh, a former attendance secretary for the Joseph City Unified School District. Pugh is accused of stealing $40,436 in District funds.

Phoenix, Arizona - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that AZ Petition Partners LLC, an Arizona Limited Liability Company doing business as “Petition Partners,” has been charged with fifty (50) misdemeanor counts in connection with alleged payments under illegal bonus programs purportedly paid to contracted petition circulators gathering signatures for the Invest in Education ballot initiative (Prop 208).

Tucson, Arizona - The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken and pork tamale products containing Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated diced tomatoes in puree that have been recalled by the producer, due to concerns that the products may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hard plastic.
