Yuma, Arizona - Today at approximately 2:13 p.m., Yuma Police Officers responded to a report of threats with a handgun at Carver Elementary School, located at 1341 W. 5th Street. Officers responded to the school and placed it on lockdown.

Phoenix, Arizona - On Saturday, March 10, the Phoenix Police Department arrested Yolanda Young, 46, following a bank robbery at Desert Financial Credit Union at 6145 North 35th Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. During the robbery, Young allegedly presented the teller with a demand note, received an undisclosed amount of money, and fled before she was apprehended.
Tonalea Man Sentenced To 12 Years in Federal Prison for Kidnapping

Phoenix, Arizona - Monday, Roscoe Peter Begay, 37, of Tonalea, Arizona, and a member of the Navajo Nation, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Douglas L. Rayes to 12 years in prison, followed by a term of five years of supervised release. Begay had previously pleaded guilty to kidnapping.
