Washington, DC - On September 4, a high-level U.S. government delegation comprised of senior officials from the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of the Interior, and the U.S. Agency for International Development, led by Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke hosted a roundtable discussion over breakfast with the heads of delegation for 16 Pacific Island countries and territories just prior to the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meeting with Forum Dialogue Partners (PIF FDP) in Nauru.

Yuma, Arizona - Late Friday night the United States Marshals Service led WANTED Violent Offender Task Force, with the assistance of the Yuma Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, arrested Isaiah Brown for the murder of Jermarion Jackson. The arrest came after a cross country manhunt that ended with the fugitive’s arrest in 4700 block of West 27th Lane in Yuma.

Yuma, Arizona - On Saturday, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a red Jeep Cherokee was traveling in the 1200 block of W, 24th Street. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole causing a power outage in the area.

Yuma, Arizona - On Saturday, at approximately 3:14 a.m., a red Jeep Cherokee was traveling southbound in the 2400 block of Avenue 9E. The vehicle left the roadway and struck the concrete barrier to the canal bridge. The vehicle rolled and slid, coming to rest on its roof.

Yuma, Arizona - On Thursday, between approximately 4:09 p.m. and 9:04 p.m., the Yuma Police Department responded to several calls for service that wound up tying into each other. These calls included numerous felony offenses, to include aggravated assault, vehicle thefts and residential burglaries.
