Washington, DC - The Federal Trade Commission is putting more than 1,100 businesses that pitch money-making ventures on notice that if they deceive or mislead consumers about potential earnings, the FTC won’t hesitate to use its authority to target them with large civil penalties.

Phoenix, Arizona - Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich led a coalition of 20 states supporting Ohio’s lawsuit challenging the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional Tax Mandate in the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) that threatens to withhold COVID-19 relief funding from states if they lower taxes in any fashion. Any state that violates the provision is required to repay funds to the U.S. Department of Treasury (Treasury).
