Detroit, Michigan - A grand jury in Detroit, Michigan, returned an indictment yesterday charging Carl L. Collins III, a Michigan attorney, with tax evasion, filing two false tax returns and seven counts of willfully failing to file individual and corporate tax returns, announced Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Richard E. Zuckerman of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and U.S. Attorney Matthew J. Schneider for the Eastern District of Michigan.
