Tucson, Arizona - On Monday, Rogelio Salazar Gastelum, Jr., 54, of Sells, Arizona, was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Cindy K. Jorgenson to 52 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Gastelum previously pleaded guilty to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Salt Lake City, Utah - Timothy James Hallows, age 62, of Kaysville, who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in July, will spend 46 months in federal prison. U.S. District Judge Howard C. Nielson, Jr., imposed the sentence Wednesday morning in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City.

Terre Haute, Indiana - Thursday, Orlando Cordia Hall was executed at U.S. Penitentiary Terre Haute in accordance with the capital sentence unanimously recommended by a federal jury and imposed by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 1996. Hall was pronounced dead at 11:47 p.m. EST.
