Yuma, Arizona - AWCTheatre will present "Sixty in Ninety," a production that compels its cast to write 60 two-minute plays and then perform them in ninety minutes. This production runs Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the AWC Theater on the college's main campus at 2020 South Avenue 8E in Yuma.
"Directed by AWCTheatre stalwart Linda Torrez -- in her final AWCTheatre directing gig-- this production promises to be face-paced, fabulous, and mostly funny," says AWCTheatre Professor Chip Straley. "This production continues a process begun by Nikki Olsen at Yuma High School many years ago, and Linda proudly gets in touch with those theatre roots to present this show to you."
Admission is a donation of $10, or five articles of clean, wearable clothing, or five items of non-perishable food. AWCTheatre uses monetary donations to continue to bring the best possible theatre to the Yuma community; donates clothing to the Crossroads Mission; and donates the food to the Yuma Community Food Bank.
