Yuma, Arizona - Celebrate the life and legacy of Helene Thomas Bennett at the Heritage Library! On Saturday, October 27th, Special Collections Librarian Laurie Boone will present “Yuma Women’s History” at 10:00 a.m. Learn more about the life and career of Helene Thomas Bennett, a food/ chemical laboratory specialist who founded Thomas Laboratories in 1926 and devoted 58 years of her life to the health and well-being of Yuma’s citizens.
