Somerton, Arizona - The Somerton Library invites you to participate in a community Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Altar! From Tuesday, October 23rd to Saturday, October 27th, community members are invited to bring items to help decorate the altar (located inside the library) anytime during library open hours.
There is no charge to participate.
On Wednesday, October 31st, the Somerton Library, in collaboration with other community agencies, will present the history and traditions of Día de los Muertos at 10:00 a.m. Artwork by local students and artists will be on display. There is no charge to attend.
