Yuma, Arizona - This morning at approximately 3:37a.m., Officers from the Yuma Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1600 block of West 8th Street. Upon arrival police located two subjects with gunshot wounds.
A male subject was pronounced deceased on scene. A female subject was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center reference her injuries. She was flown to Phoenix for further treatment. The identity of the deceased subject is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
This case is still under investigation.
