Yuma, Arizona - On Sunday, at about 6:00 pm a suspicious incident occurred in the area of 32nd Street and Arizona Avenue. A 16 year old female reported a suspicious male tried to talk her into his car.
Yuma, Arizona - Some residents in Yuma County will begin noticing new signs being placed at the entrance and exits to their subdivision. The signs are authorized by Arizona Revised Statute to advise citizens they are traveling on a “Primitive Road.”

Yuma, Arizona - On Thursday December 5, 2013 at 7:30pm a house fire was reported in the 4800 block of West 21st Street. Arriving Yuma Fire Department (YFD) personnel found smoke and flames coming from a residence at 4853 West 21st Street. Firefighters contained and extinguished the fire quickly. Surrounding homes were not damaged.
Yuma, Arizona - On Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. the Fraternal Order of Police Yuma Lodge #24 will be “turning over the leash” of a newly donated Police Service Dog (K-9) to Chief Lekan on behalf of the Yuma Police Department.
Yuma, Arizona - On Monday, a cat with an unusual problem was brought to Fire Station #4, 2850 West 16th Street. The adult gray cat had its head stuck in a dog food can. Two women had seen the cat in the street, walking blind and nearly hit by a car. They picked it up and brought it to the fire station to see if they could get some help.
