Yuma, Arizona -  Yuma, Ariz. – Comics, anime and pop culture will collide as YumaCon returns to the Yuma area for the fourth time on Saturday, Oct. 6. Yumans are invited to come out –whether dressed in character or not – and meet up with fellow fans between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. that day at the Yuma Civic Center to attend panels, play video games or tabletop games, and show off their costumes.

An event that outgrew its original venue literally the first year it was held, YumaCon draws more than 1,500 annually. Attendees are invited to participate in the closing costume masquerade where they can show off their cosplay and compete to win one of the dozens of prizes available. The event is complete with a red carpet, which is open for a selfie or to spot your favorite character icons.

Tickets for YumaCon are $12 each at the door. However, tickets purchased by end of the day on Sunday, Sept. 30 are just $10 each. Advance purchases can be made at www.yumashowtickets.com. Children ages 5 and under receive free admission and do not need a ticket to enter.

YumaCon favorites will return to the event including tabletop games, panels, Geek Elite Radio live broadcasting and dozens of merchants in the vendor hall. In addition, the event will have classic arcade games from the Golden Cue available to play (bring your own quarters).
