Yuma, Arizona - On Friday, at 7:03 pm, Yuma Police Department and Yuma Fire Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the 500 block of E. 32nd Street.
An adult male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing 32nd Street. The adult male was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
West bound traffic on 32nd Street was closed between Arizona Avenue and Catalina Drive for several hours. This collision remains under investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The pedestrian was identified as 58 year old Francisco Valdez. Francisco Valdez succumbed to his injuries at 11:01 pm. on October 27th. Next of Kin has been notified.
